Draftycar

Draftycar is a deceptive game and I mean that in a positive way, you are racing in a forty-three-car field in a straight line and while that sounds simple it is not because you got to stay in the draft the whole way to help you try and win, if you lose the draft for a couple of seconds, your hopes of winning are sunk.

The cars are imitations of some of the most famous Stock Cars in history, obviously the creators couldn’t use sponsors like Coors, Tide, Havoline, Goodwrench etc. so the game uses Doors instead of Coors and Woodbench instead of Goodwrench but they are the Stock Cars you know and love.

One cool feature is the leaderboard, it tracks everybody who is racing, and you end up on the scoreboard.

I hope one day that this game will have Australian Stock Cars from the 90s in it, for example the #27 Repco sponsored car can easily be the #27 Retro car, one can dream.

This game has so much potential, imagine having the ability to pick any of the other cars instead of just the #86, the lack of ability to switch cars probably lowers the replay ability of the game.

TIP: Stick close to the #51, follow it all the way to front and then at about 80% of the way try make a pass, you’re likely to get a drafting partner to go around the #51 and take the win, you may encounter problems if the #51 or you get stuck in the middle lane.
