Police Shootout

Police Shootout is an interesting kind of Police PC game that is a mix of genres.

It is at first your typical first-person game, you arrive on a scene, you ask witnesses questions, you radio in developments, and it is very important that you ask every possible question and radio in every development.

The game takes a turn when you encounter a suspect, you use the information you have gathered to try and get the suspect to surrender, if you don’t get them to surrender, the game turns into a turn based one like X-Com.

In each turn you get a few moves to either shoot at the suspect which you have to time perfectly or find some cover before they shoot at you.

As you continue through the game, you learn a little bit more about why you’re serving in the police force.

I like that they tried making a hybrid game, it is something that you don’t see every day.
