Tastemaker

Tastemaker is a game where you get to build and run a restaurant and you have the choice of playing scenarios or just have fun in the sandbox.

Scenarios offer six locations and to advance you need to obtain stars by beating the challenges for example you need to earn 850 coins by selling only bread.

The scenarios are a tightrope, if you don’t make inroads almost immediately, you’ll end up going around in circles as you won’t get close to hitting the target, you’ll make money but not enough to get an all-important star so you may need to gather up the coins and do an overhaul to try and hit the target.

There’s not a whole lot of space in your restaurant so you got to make the most of your space, you can hire staff and split off the duties to keep things flowing like dishwashing, cleaning, cooking and serving.

Floors do get messy, and rodents do appear and even a Mafia figure appears too.

You get a nice array of appliances, furniture and decor to choose from too, each have their own uses and values to keep your restaurant highly rated, you will need to build a bathroom for customers.

Stairs are an option in the game so you can build up, you may need to build a level that seats customers and have a level that prepares and serves the food.

All in all, this is a fun game, a lot of hours has been spent playing it, probably more than needed but a challenge is always a good thing.
