We take a look at the game Booze Shop Simulator.
Simulators, they are a dime a dozen on Steam and other game selling locations, and it is hard especially on steam to know which versions are legit and which are known as shovelware.
Shovelware is when game developers buy game design packs, do a little work, put the game up for sale and leave it far behind.
Here are some examples, a Trading Card shop game has many different versions of the same product and there’s many versions of a Supermarket game and they have varying degrees of quality and so it is really recommended that you look closely at each version and read the feedback.

You have your booze shop and a little bit of money, enough to buy some cases of beer and maybe some food.
There is no music in this game after the start menu, just some ambient noise, beeps of scanning items and the cash register.
Unlike most simulator games where you get to walk behind the counter you get a prompt which you use which places you behind the counter.

There is a computer in the shop where you buy everything from food and drink to shelving to upgrades and security.
If you don’t have what the customers want, they usually just turn around and go home, this can happen for a couple of game hours until you buy more shelves and broaden your range of items for sale.

It seems every time that I started getting somewhere, the above man appears, a robber who just takes money from the cash register, you can buy metal detectors for the entrance, cameras and a guard but all options cost you and they have to be brought one at a time in that particular order.

Your shop closes at 5am, you flip the sign over and start a new day after getting the financial review of your day and a customer happiness report.

The options in your game are pretty basic, I had earbuds on when the robber hit the security system, and it was really loud, so it is best to make sure your volume is down.
This is a really simple game, you buy shelf stock, you scan items at the register, take cash or credit card, get the right change or put in the amount on the card, buy and restock the shelves, you occasionally get robbed and just build up your bank balance.
Rating: 3 out of 5.
